EPA Audio Visual, Inc. partnered with UW-Stout Polytechnic to design and integrate a comprehensive audiovisual system for its new 1,900-square-foot Esports Arena, located in the Robert S. Swanson Library & Learning Center.
Designed to support competitive gaming, live streaming, broadcasting, and content creation, the facility combines professional-grade technology with hands-on learning opportunities. The goal was to create a dynamic, flexible environment where students can compete, collaborate, and develop real-world production skills.
High-Performance Technology. Seamless Integration.
EPA designed and integrated a networked AV system connecting the arena's gaming stations, presentation displays, production studio, and content creation spaces into one flexible platform.
Powered by Q-SYS networked technology, the system delivers high-quality, low-latency 4K video distribution throughout the facility. Two 85-inch Sony displays, additional viewing monitors, and multiple PTZ cameras create an immersive environment for spectators while supporting professional live production and streaming.
Integrated microphones, audio processing, sound reinforcement, and recording capabilities provide broadcast-quality performance, while customized touchscreen controls allow operators to easily manage video sources, cameras, audio, and streaming functions.
The result is a scalable, high-performance esports environment built for competition, creativity, and the future of digital learning.
